Greetings . . .
2012 . . . December 21, 2012 to be exact. What will happen? Will it be apocalypse, doomsday or a spiritual shift of consciousness . . . or nothing?
What was once considered the focus of a few New Age “crazies” has now hit the mainstream and has become a pop culture phenomena. Some 50 million Americans have New Age/New Spirituality belief and another possible 100 million have leanings towards it. These folks were not in any of our churches last Sunday, BTW. And there are some good church folks who may see some of their views as valid.
I believe that the “2012 Delusion” is a fantastic opportunity to witness for Christ and share truth to the unchurched, de-churched and post-churched. Even our church members and faithful in Christ have questions about 2012 and are being asked questions.
At a recent pastor’s conference I talked to Ed Stetzer about launching a 2012 Truth Seminar. He said it would be a needed message and the information would help Christians see the truth.
The next few years will bring a great window of opportunity for witness as 2012 fears and questions will abound. I hope these seminars will bring clarity and charity into the mix.
Our hope and trust is NOT in a Mayan Calendar or alignment with the Great Galactic Synchronization beam emanating out from the center of the Milky Way in 2012. Our hope is in the Lord Jesus Christ and the Word of God.
I will come to your church, Bible or prophecy conference, college classroom and chapel service or revival to bring Bible truth and help your members to kick-start an evangelistic response to those who have followed a delusion.
